ECH Connect is an internal application issued by East Coast Hospitals to its staff and
associates. You can ask us to delete your account and the personal data held against it.
How to request deletion
- Email support@eastcoasthospital.com
from the email address registered to your ECH Connect account.
- Use the subject line Data deletion request.
- Include your full name and registered phone number so we can locate your account.
We will acknowledge your request within 7 working days and
complete it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login credentials.
- Your profile details: name, email address, phone number and user ID.
- Your recorded location history, including attendance check-in and check-out points and
field-activity tracking points.
- Photographs and documents you uploaded, including KYC images.
- Push and notification preferences held against your account.
What may be retained, and why
Some records cannot be deleted immediately because East Coast Hospitals is required to keep
them:
- Financial and commission records — retained for the period required by
applicable accounting and tax law, then deleted.
- Patient referral records — these belong to the hospital's own operational
records rather than to your personal account. Where possible your personal identifiers are
removed from them rather than the referral itself being destroyed.
Anything retained for these reasons is deleted or anonymised once the retention period ends.
Removing the app
Uninstalling ECH Connect removes locally stored data from your device, including your saved
login session. It does not by itself delete data already held on our servers — use the email
process above for that.
